The ancient mill, located in a fairytale context, is surrounded by about 5 hectares of park / exclusive land and is located near Castagneto Carducci. Il Mulino is an ancient stone building from the 16th century, one of the oldest buildings in the area, and the oldest mill for oil and wheat in the Castagneto Carducci area (Livorno, Tuscany). It is crossed by an evocative stream.
The large building belonged to the Gherardesca Counts and in ancient times housed five rural families who ran the mill and agriculture.
Today the mill is privately owned, and the owners live it all year round, renting the portions they do not need.
It consists of 6 independent apartments of different sizes and 2 studios (all furnished), a large multi-purpose hall and cellars. The apartments can accommodate two to eight people. They have been carefully restored, with some beautiful antiques, objects of art and decoration with the charm of the ancient beamed ceilings, cross vaults and finely restored terracotta floors.

the 130 sqm apartment is located on the 1st floor and consists of a large living room (75 sqm) with kitchen. In one area of ​​the living room there is a double sofa bed and another bed. In the 35 sqm bedroom there is a large double bed. From the bedroom it is possible to cross a suggestive and romantic little bridge that leads to the private garden, where there is an outbuilding of about 30 sqm with 2 beds, a large bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and bidet.
